Apparently Pauly Shore movies do have a purpose in this world. Namely to convince me that if I'm watching a Pauly Shore movie then there really is NOTHING on TV and it's about time I turned it off and did something productive. I cleaned my apartment this afternoon for the first time in months. (Okay so I haven't gotten to the kitchen and bathroom yet, but I'm planning to do that tomorrow so I can put the rotten food directly outside for the trash pick up.) It feels lovely to finally be able to walk around without stepping over things. Especially since there will soon be Christmas gifts all over the place in various stages of wrapping.

This has been a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I really needed the couple extra days off, to regain my health and sanity. I got to spend lots of time with the South Portland contingent, which included a lobster dinner. That was exciting. Got to meet the infamous Luda. My verdict: she's pretty cool.
Now I have three weeks and a real vacation. Yippee! I wonder what I'm going to do on my vacation. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
